Lawn
- · Wash in cold water with mild detergent.
- · Turn inside out before washing to preserve prints.
- · Do not bleach.
- · Dry in shade; avoid direct sunlight.
- · Iron on medium heat from the reverse side.
Cotton
- · Machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water.
- · Separate whites from colours on first wash.
- · Do not wring; reshape and lay flat to dry.
- · Iron on medium-high heat while slightly damp.
- · Store folded in a cool, dry place.
Chiffon & Silk
- · Hand wash only in cold water.
- · Use a mild, silk-safe detergent.
- · Do not wring or twist.
- · Lay flat on a towel and roll gently to remove water.
- · Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth.
- · Dry clean recommended for heavy embroidery.
Khaddar
- · Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water.
- · Expect slight shrinkage after the first wash.
- · Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
- · Dry in shade to maintain colour and texture.
- · Iron on medium-high heat; steam works well.
General Tips
- · Always read the care label attached to your garment.
- · Wash embroidered and embellished pieces inside out.
- · Store fabrics in breathable cotton bags, not plastic.
- · Avoid hanging heavy suits; fold them instead.
- · Address stains promptly — dab, never rub.
